My Instagram account has recently unlocked the “Trials Reels” feature. In short, it’s a tool that helps content appear more on the Explore page. The posts do not appear on the profile and are not shown to followers — they are only visible on Explore. This makes it easier for videos to get discovered.
Of course, I tested it immediately. I have shared 5 trials reels so far and now I’m waiting for the results. The first attempt is usually harder because the system needs time to discover the potential audience. This could become a way out for this account, but it’s impossible to predict the outcome. I keep posting and hoping for a small miracle.
YouTube Shorts
These days I’m actively promoting my YouTube channel. I think I mentioned this in my previous post, but it’s worth repeating.
One of the Shorts I shared recently reached 200+ views, while others didn’t even reach 10 views. Some of them don’t even get pushed to Explore. I don’t know what the exact problem is, but I keep promoting anyway. I currently have nearly 400 subscribers. Maybe when I reach 1K+ subscribers, it will become easier to get recommended — I honestly don’t know.
YouTube Long Videos and Blog
I also continue producing long-form YouTube videos. My main goal is actually to gain subscribers through long videos. People who discover me through long content may also become potential readers of my blog. Of course, my goal is to earn money and share my story with people — to create organic traffic for my website. I see YouTube as the main income source.
As I start earning, I plan to take bigger steps and organize my work more professionally. My YouTube channel could genuinely save my life. With subscribers gained there, I can also grow my Instagram and TikTok and build a stable presence on those platforms. My short-term goal is to move out of my family’s house and build an independent life. I will think about the next steps once I reach that point. With my current channel and website, I must reach this goal.
Plan II
To increase my subscriber count, maybe I can find a more organic method — I’m not sure. Perhaps mutual subscriptions could work. I don’t really know how to do it yet, but I will research it.

Facebook
Oh my god… I completely forgot about my Facebook account. I also have no idea how to grow it. I share the same content there that I post on Instagram, but I get almost no results. It feels like a very complicated platform to me, so I unintentionally stay away from it. My main focus is definitely Instagram and especially YouTube.
Last Words
In this blog post, I simply wanted to give a general update. For now, this is the current situation. If there are any developments, you will probably notice them through the follower numbers. Thank you for reading.
