music has more influence than we think. They’re like a drug. They can instill incredible sadness and hope. When you put on headphones and close your eyes, it makes you question reality. It suddenly changes our moods, or let’s say it reveals the emotions we have suppressed inside us. I don’t think an emotion that doesn’t exist will come out. After all, we feel whatever is in our nature.

This is not only about music but about everything. Each person may have a predisposition to certain areas and emotions. It’s very important to refine and train them, but let’s skip this part for now because our topic is music and its effects.

To give an example from my own life, when I listen to music, I get rid of the pathetic state I am in for a moment. Sometimes I become a singer, sometimes a celebrity, sometimes an actor. Music is an incredible blessing for me. You have the opportunity to taste all kinds of emotions. Isn’t there a bad side? Of course there is. If you are depressed, it makes you more depressed. It makes you unhappy and lazy. It sucks all your hope out of you. It takes you to the bottom. The darkness is all around you and it’s mostly up to you to get out of it. I say mostly because sometimes you may not really have the mental strength to get up. As a person who is aware that life is hard and has had to experience it very painfully, it is very difficult to keep your mentality intact in a garbage dump like the Middle East. And when there is nothing to hold on to, that’s what happens.

When you see depression and sadness slowly turning into hatred, you should be afraid. That’s when you are really at the bottom. I don’t know how to fight it, to be honest. Think about the people who have turned your life upside down. Imagine forgiving them. Does it hurt you? Then you shouldn’t forgive. Unless you say we will never meet again after forgiving. The truth is then there is no point in forgiving. It’s a strange dilemma. It is best not to forgive anyone. If the wrong done to you was done on purpose and on top of that, if it was done under the name of goodness, do not forgive at all.
